The British Prime Minister activates the Cobra room and initiates martial law. In the United States, President Johnson sends aid in the form of two aircraft carriers plus his Presidential army headed by Thomas.

After their first Sumatran tiger release, Langham and his group are attacked by paramilitaries with worrying consequences.

Axmann transfers from his submarine to a freighter, taking his sinister package with him and heads up the St Lawrence Seaway and makes his way to Yellowstone National Park.

Critique: An original, impressively crafted, and compelling read from beginning to end, "The Atlantic Affair" is the second title in the author Gary Paul Stephenson's 'Charles Langham Adventure' series that deftly melds Fact and Fiction together to produce a truly riveting novel from beginning to end.

While unreservedly recommended, especially for community library Contemporary General Fiction collections, it should be noted for personal reading lists that "The Atlantic Affair" is also available in a paperback edition (9780994144683, $14.99).

Also still available and highly recommended from Lang Book Publishing is the first volume of this simply outstanding series by Gary Paul Stephenson, "The Pacific Affair" (9780994129062, $24.99 HC; 9780994129031, $14.99 PB; Kindle, $2.99).
